New terrace

Last tuesday when I came home (after a terrible meeting) from school, my dh was making a new terrace. We had a large sandbox in the garden but now our youngest is 10 and nobody seem to use it anymore.
Yesterday he finished the terrace...and I had seen this beautiful bench in the store..
So now here you see the new bench on the new terrace!

new outside bench

My dh is verry disappointed in the pictures.... 'it only shows the bench, you can't see annything of the terrace.'
I love the new bench and this old quilt hanging on it, and yes my dh I love the new terrace.

Today I started this quilt,

New quilt with embroidered parts

Hope it will turn out right.

Have a great sunny day!

  11. Heleen, Your class art work is wonderfully inspiring. I truly believe that all children should learn about the masters of art. I know my life has been enriched by their work to this day. Wonderful bench, wonderful cement! Elizabeth
