A girls trip to London and new bag,


Just finished this new bag,

I'm pleased with the result, and love the warmth of the colors and look of the bag.

A GIRLS TRIP TO LONDON,

Yes, my daughter and me are going to Londen for a few days in October, just the two of us, the girls in the house!

London

It was her idea to ask this as a gift for het 14th birthday.. she's saving money for this trip to do a lot of shopping. (me too of course)

We booked our flight but have to book our hotel or BB.

If any of you have great London ideas for us,
it can be anything, a nice BB or hotel, lovely shops, vintage shops, places to lunch, etc....

We'll love it and be greatful!

    I would definitely say Liberty's but John Lewis on Oxford Street has a really nice haberdashery section too.

    VV Rouleaux is the place to go for ribbon - there is a really wide selection there.

    Borough Market is a nice place to go and visit if you like food. There are lots of things to try and you can buy a cheap and delicious snack there - they even have tables you can sit at.

    Try Islington & Camden Passage, take the "Angel" Underground station, you will find a very vintage market there, I prefer it to Portobello Market which is very busy, but must say that I have not been there for a while.
    Also Carnaby street and Berwick street for some lovely fabric shops. And at the back of Covent Garden you will find Neal Street and numerous other little streets you might like.
    Have fun, you won't have time enough LOL.

    I've just returned from a trip to London in fact I've just done a blog post on it!!
    I visited Islington and Camden Passage, Camden Town is worth a visit too. Definitely visit Liberty. We stayed in the London Bridge Hotel and it was lovely.

    Hello - thanks for your comment on my embarassing dust situation! I love this bag and I think you will have a fantastic time in London. I took my elder son over there alone once when he'd won a prize - the award ceremony was in Campden. But he was much younger...

    For great ideas on where to visit and shop, I think that Happy Loves Rosie and HenHouse have both done some wonderful posts about their trips to the Big Smoke. I would track down every one of their haunts if I could.

    I just went to London for a day with my 13 year old daughter this summer! We bought a London map with all the tourist attractions on it and it had the shopping area's marked on it too. Just 2.50 pound. Found it at a stall near Westminster Abbey.
