Enjoying sunday,

This morning Corry and I went to a local fleamarket.
We love to stroll around to find lovely treasures.
I found these two girls looking at me,

I don't know but februari seemed to have passed in the blink off an eye!
I did how ever just finish my swap gifts for Sofia and Rosa Maria... but these are secret so,



I can only show a little peek!

Yesterday the postwomen brought me these lovely fabrics from Denmark.



They are a sweet gift from Karen, She has a great blog that I love to visit! Thank you Karen I love the fabrics!


Although the weather is very bad I do enjoy this sunday, I hope you do also!

This and that,

Although I can't wait for spring to start, it is still very much winter!

I had a garland like this hanging on my door,



But after two days the poor thing looked like this..


All beries were gone!So here is a another one for the hungry blackbirds and starlings.
The berries on bottom seem to teast best!



Again I bought some fabrics,



Every time when i buy fabric, the store lady askes me what I'm going to make.. and most times I have to say, I don't know. Guess I do have an addiction.

It is almost valentine so for you all a sweet kiss from me and I hope your heart will be spoiled this sunday!

Red and white update,

The top is finished and I'm ready to start quilting,



All I need now is enough time this (busy)weekend to do some quilting and to finsh the bag!

A new bag,

Although I still have to buy a new tree, I could not wait any longer to get out some of the christmas decoration.

Before putting it in the shop I need to make the shoulderband.

Just a quick post

This week seems to go by so so fast with work, appointments,
birthdays etc.. And now I have just a quick moment to make a post.

This bag is now finished and is going to Simone,

Yes, saterday was a real good day.

These lovely fabrics were brought by the postman,

I have been in search for a 'grand foular' to cover an old chair.... or the other option... a new chair. (but in these tight financial times times I rather wanted the first option)

And yesterday I found this quilt and two pillows for a nice price,



They are just what this cosy corner needed! I know, I can hear a lot of you thinking.. 'she should have made it herself' ... you are right ofcourse, But sometimes buying (and the quick result) can be satisfying.

And to make the atmosphere complete I bought new candle's and this plant



So yesterday evening, while we were all home, close by the fire, candle burning and drinking some hot coco, I was thinking 'This was a good day'!

Today we have a sunny sonday so another good day has started!

Afterglowing,

This afternoon while I was afterglowing our great day in Dordrecht,

(thank you lili M. for all the great tips, we visited great thrift stores, the museum of Simon van Gijn and we tasted whine in the Voorstraat.)

And they match so great in our home, especially in our kitchen with my crockery as you can see on the first picture. But also with these,

Can't wait to get started!!
But just looking at the fabrics, makes me feel so happy!
