We just had some great christmas days! We enjoyed the warm company of family while we had a great meal and a good glas of wine! Today we are in a bit of an afterglow atmosphere. Watching some tv and hanging on the couch close by the fire.

And in moments like these I can't sit still... so I made this quilted and embroidered pillow! It matches great with the quilt.
Enjoy your day,
Nothing special going on today.
Just doing some sewing with the red and white fabrics...

Have a good day everyone,
Yes, saterday was a real good day.
These lovely fabrics were brought by the postman,

I won these beautifull fabrics in the giveaway on Quilt it & dotty's blog!

Aren't they lovely? Thank you so much Dorry!
I have been in search for a 'grand foular' to cover an old chair.... or the other option... a new chair. (but in these tight financial times times I rather wanted the first option)
And yesterday I found this quilt and two pillows for a nice price,

They are just what this cosy corner needed! I know, I can hear a lot of you thinking.. 'she should have made it herself' ... you are right ofcourse, But sometimes buying (and the quick result) can be satisfying.
And to make the atmosphere complete I bought new candle's and this plant

So yesterday evening, while we were all home, close by the fire, candle burning and drinking some hot coco, I was thinking 'This was a good day'!
Today we have a sunny sonday so another good day has started!
wish you all a good day too,
Groetjes
Just couldn't resist to make another matching quilt (je) for this bag.

Have a good friday!
groetjes,
With the scraps from my last quilt I'm making a little quilt,

And with all the kids being out at the moment... I'm going to use my time sewing this little quilt! Hope to show the result soon!
Enjoy your sunday!
My Ria brought these shoes for me from Spain,

They are a gift for little Luca when she turns two. Luckely it'll take 9 months before that happens, so I can look at them for a long time!
It seems these are the polka dot days here and at school, have a look,

Polka dots on the table. (Today I hope to finish this quilt, so it stays on the kitchen table and every free minute can be spend useful.)
And polka dots in our class,

The season table

painting,

felting and folding
And of course, can't live without polka dots fabric!

Well, I'm of now to do a few more stitches on the quilt, before my son is home for lunch.
Next post you'll see it finished!
