Stitchery bags,

As you know I love to make bags from sweaters and stitchery work. Corry found this stitchery, I think I can make a great bag with these houses,

But First I want to finish the bag I started this week,

working on a new bag

The cotton lining is going to be cute, don't you think?

What's going on.. Beer

It seems like life in this home is focused around this little one
the last two weeks,

kitten

When the kids are at home they have to play and cuddle with this cuty, playful a bit naughty Beer,

kitten

Now, there is a little problem comming up... what to do when we go camping?
We can bring our kitten to a friend but the kids insist on taking him along...

Does anyone have any experience with taking a cat camping?
Please let me know.

I'm so happy spring is here!
These grape hyacinths came out again,

grape hyacinths

and the weather was so nice.. it inspired our youngest
to some carpentry!

Bob de bouwer

a small 'Rietveld' chair for our kitten Beer!

De nieuwe Rietveld

I'm just not sure if it's his (Beer) taste....

A wonderful day, tree picture 1 and new bags

Yes, yesterday was my birthday. Another year older! It is always a strange day for a birthday, after having so many special days. But it was a great day! A few people came over and in the evening we went out for a fancy family dinner!

Oh and I was spoiled by DH, he suprised me with this beautiful large tablecloth,

new Pip tablecloth

It came in a beautifull box,

new Pip tablecloth

I love how it is made,

new Pip tablecloth

I love how it fills the table with colour!
Another gift was this beautiful sugarbowl,

new Pip sugarbowl

As I said it was a wonderful day!

Now something else,
I want to take the same picture of a tree each month. The same tree a bit different each month. And after a year we will see a tree's yearlife!
Here is the first tree picture,

Tree januari

And at last I made these two bags for the shop,

bag

Love the monster on the bag!
(the bag below is sold)

special messenger bag

Unfortunately today is the last day before school starts and regular life will start again. So we'll cherish this beautiful winter sunday.

Wish you all a good start of the week!

Great christmas,

We just had some great christmas days! We enjoyed the warm company of family while we had a great meal and a good glas of wine! Today we are in a bit of an afterglow atmosphere. Watching some tv and hanging on the couch close by the fire.

Dutch pillow

And in moments like these I can't sit still... so I made this quilted and embroidered pillow! It matches great with the quilt.

Enjoy your day,

Kitchen table,

It sure is drippy wet and cold weather, a real autumn day!

Rainy day

So the ideal day, after 3 working days, to take a slow start... read the paper, do some stitchery and blogging.

On the kitchentable..

The best place for all this is the kitchentable! Hiep hiep hoera for the kitchentable!

Here are a few new houses, finished at the kitchentable.

New houses

Now I do hope it'll stop raining some time today.. do need to do some shopping and detach myself from the kitchen table.

Rood met witte stippen...

My Ria brought these shoes for me from Spain,

Little Spanish shoes for....

They are a gift for little Luca when she turns two. Luckely it'll take 9 months before that happens, so I can look at them for a long time!

It seems these are the polka dot days here and at school, have a look,

almost finished quilt on the kitchen table

Polka dots on the table. (Today I hope to finish this quilt, so it stays on the kitchen table and every free minute can be spend useful.)

And polka dots in our class,

Well, I'm of now to do a few more stitches on the quilt, before my son is home for lunch.

Small things and a little bag

You know, I made these little ornaments,

Ornaments with a Dutch touch

Now they need to have something to put them in when they aren't hanging. So I made a little matching bag to put them in,

a peek inside

Actually I made 3 three little bags
