I don't want to make my blog into a 'cat blog' .. but our kitten 'bear' discovered a new area in the house...

until now he makes a lot of rubbish from all ribbons and bands!

Meanwhile I almost finished my apron for the apron swap!



I think it is turnig out nice... and I hope Sarah is going to like it.

Blogging again

Hello again,
We had a two week vacation by the sea. It was great!
But now it's time to start catching up with blogging and I'm far behind reading all your lovely blogs, and please forgive me for not answering your comments.



We took our cat 'Bear' allong with us and he did great!
He is growing real fast and is being naughty and cute at the same time.



Today I finally have a little time to work on the apron swap!

With the kids in school we have been making surprises for mothersday.

Yes it is a happy day becouse,

The doctor gave me a new medicine for my 'spring' allergies.
So today I finally have normal looking eyes! Instead of walking around like I have been crying all day!



It's a happy day becouse I almost finished the horse bag,



I bought new magazines!



With great illustrations from Hanneke de Jager.



And Flow magazine is always filled with little gifts like this cuty,



My daughter is making our dinner, Pancakes in all kind of flavors.
So that gives me time to do some sewing!

Today the weather is so great, we had our tea outsite!



And 'bear' (= beer in dutch)is taking his first steps outside!
(he's doing great with the leach)



My intention for today was to work on this new horse bag...



Oh well maybe I can find a little sewing time tomorrow.

It is amazing what you can buy for your pet,
But a corn flakes box with a few wholes in it, is playing fun for houres!

This is what I found at a local flea-market,



I'm not so sure what to do with the horse....



I'll just keep it a while and than give it away again...

Stitchery bags,

As you know I love to make bags from sweaters and stitchery work. Corry found this stitchery, I think I can make a great bag with these houses,



But First I want to finish the bag I started this week,



The cotton lining is going to be cute, don't you think?
