Next monday school starts again. Time does go by real fast!!
Becouse the weather wasn't that great, I spend last week redecorating our master bedroom. New wallpaper, painting the ceiling etc. I wanted everything new! But somehow I just can't part with this lamp!

It's a vintage lamp I bought years ago. I love the sweet (kitchy) pink porcelain roses. So I cleaned the lamp real good and repaired the fallen roses.

Now I'm of in search for a new bed and curtains.

See you all soon!

Welkom terug!

De lamp is inderdaad heel bijzonder.

Gefeliciteerd met de geboorte van de baby van je nichtje.

ooooo! You could just build the entire room around that lamp! What a great starting piece. I hope you are able to show your curtains when you get them too.
It's good to have you back.

Geniet ervan!

Welkom terug!

If you ever do part with that lamp, I am camping on your doorstep to get it. LOL! I don't blame you for keeping it. Decorate around it is the best thing. That is so beautiful! We are decorating too and it is so much fun to freshen things up a bit. Glad you had a nice vacation.

Hugs en groetjes ~
Heidi

Hello Heleen, welcome back.

Thank you so much for your suggestions for quilting shops in Amsterdam. I printed out your email and carried it with me. I browsed through the street market and found two of the shops you recommended. I was totally delighted by the shop selling reproductions of vintage Dutch fabrics. I bought a bundle of 10 pieces and now I've got another project to linger over!

They made the perfect travel souvenir for me.

Amsterdam was wonderful too!

So, thank you again for pointing me in the right direction.

(I totally agree about your light fitting... it is gorgeous - and very fashionable right now.)
