New bags

Told you I had a new idea for a bag with typical Dutch fabric from Marken. And since the weather was really bad... there was nothing else to do than making these cute bags! I 'm pleased the way they turned out. What do you think?

New ideas and more van Gogh

Wish there were more hours in a day or more days in a week. Time seem to go by extreme fast! Or maybe I just want to much.

The idea for the new quilt I showed last week will have to wait a little longer…



There are new ideas in my head.
I want to make new bags. I want to use typical Dutch folk fabric from ‘ Marken’.



Can’t show more right now. I have to start making a pattern but I hope they will turn out ok.
But I want to show a little more art work from school. Last Tuesday we had the exhibition and it was a great success!

Repair or restyle?

Last time I bought a great old tablecloth with beautiful embroidered flowers on it.
And I have the idea to restyle it, make it in to a quilt with the new fabrics from Room seven (boughth in the outlet last time).



The combination of this makes me feel good!

But....I seem to stumble over these very unpleasant little other things....



Like repairing, my sons blouse, a new zipper in my daughters top, a new button on this cuff, 3 trousers that need to be shortened...

Now I have to make a hard decision... what shall I do first?
Oh, please help me decide.....

I told you about the art project at school, about Vincent van Gogh, here are a few pieces of art the kids made,





There are great artworks made by all kids. And next Tuesday there is an exhibition for family, friends etc.
So a few more busy days at school and at home.

Spring feeling

This last week hasn’t been a creative blog week. It was a week full of Vincent van Gogh (show you children’s art work next time) and catching up with heavy neglected house and garden work.



My mom gave me these sweet flowers. I put them in a French vintage bowl. I bought it a few years ago on a market in the south of France.
Although the sun is hiding behind the clouds again…. These flowers give me just the right spring feeling!

I can’t believe this week has past already… And it is Sunday again! It seems I work from one post to another without the time to visit any other blog or thank you for the nice comments. And they do make my day! So thank you all for visiting!!!
