Great christmas,

We just had some great christmas days! We enjoyed the warm company of family while we had a great meal and a good glas of wine! Today we are in a bit of an afterglow atmosphere. Watching some tv and hanging on the couch close by the fire.

Dutch pillow

And in moments like these I can't sit still... so I made this quilted and embroidered pillow! It matches great with the quilt.

Enjoy your day,

Lovely cushions!
My daughter provided the Christmas gathering in her house this year and I was told to do nothing...it goes against the grain!!
Now I must get sewing and knitting and making (pots) as she is expecting twins in the summer!!

Good morning, Heleen! So glad I found your lovely blog today! I love all your projects that I've seen so far--what beautiful things you've done! I'm a would-be quilter (if I'd just practice more!), but I love all things quilted--have an enormous stash of beautiful fabric (especially vintage-style prints) and don't know what to do with it all!

I'm a vintage-style cardmaker, so I usually work with paper, but beautiful fabric makes me happy, too! I'm your newest follower and will be back often for inspiration--maybe I'll even break out my sewing machine...who knows?! Hope you're having a wonderful Christmas time!

What a beautiful pillow you have made. I just went to Joanne's yesterday and bought some fabrics to make a shabby chic pillow. Something I have not done in more than 20 years... sew a pillow that is. Blessings!
