A sunny autumn afternoon
Oh, how I enjoy this autumn afternoon. The sun is shining and I'm on my favourite spot in the garden. It is lovely to feel the warmth of the sun on my face after this past busy week! But there was just enough energy left to finish these sweethearts....
Of course it's always nice to have some company, so invited these ladies....

Leuk die felgekleurde hartjes. Ze passen prachtig bij alle herfsttinten in de natuur.
Mag ik vragen hoe jij die gebreide materialen verwerkt? Strijk je daar eerst vlaseline achter of hoe zorg je dat ze niet uitrafelen als je ze knipt?

Afhankelijk van de gebreide stof gebruik ik wel of geen versteviging. Bij dit hartje was het niet nodig.
I love all the super fabric you use. Do use a local fabric shop or do you buy online. I live in Den Haag. And we are being spoiled with the weather at the moment aren't we?
The brown hearts are gorgeous.
I love Autumn too. But I love those hens even more - do they let you touch them? I used to keep hens and they were so tame, they'd come when I called and jump up on my knee.
The sweethearts are wonderful! What do you do to prevent the wool from fraying out? Sorry... I see you answered the question already to Marianne!

Wat een geweldige hartjes en ik vind je tassen echt prachtig! Heb je een aparte kamer waar je in kunt naaien? Ik heb het probleem dat ik mijn spullen steeds allemaal tevoorschijn moet halen en weer opruimen natuurlijk. Voor zomaar een half uurtje naaien is dat niet echt de moeite. Fijn weekend!

Looks like a lovely Autumn day--how I miss sitting in the sun, now that I'm working 8-5! I'll always remember sitting outdoors, embroidering on my crazy quilt while my daughter looked through my quilt squares, all in the warm sunshine! Thanks for the nice memories :)
