Sewing, blogging again

Yes I'm blogging again. This last week it seemed I couldn't get near my laptop. I don't know mabye it had something to do with my pfaffie being away. Anyway I have some catching up to do and read all your beautifull posts from last week,

Yes, my pfaffie is back from vacation

But Pfaffie is back from the treatment disturbs and ready to get started!!
First there were a few repearing jobs to do... before we can start with these quilt fabrics I got from Elizabeth

30s fabrics for a quilt

I'm using all 30s fabrics in this quilt.

quilt in progress

I did take the liberty to change the pattern a bit, that came with it.
Now I cant wait to get this quilt finished, it will look so cheerful in our kitchen!

Oke, I'm off now, to sew this new quilt.. or.. no.. and to catch up reading blogs!
Guess I need more hours in a day!

See you soon,

I know how it can leave you feeling when your sewing machine has to go in for treatments...lol! I hate not having it in my home even if I don't use it that day. It is knowing it is sitting there as my best friend waiting for me if I want to play. :-) Thankfully it is back home with you and you have wonderful results! Wow! Your 30s repro quilt is fabulous. I really want to make a goal that I make a quilt with mine in 2010. Yes, I am already reflecting on all I have accomplished this year and what I want to do next. Is that odd? I think it is because even having become very sick this year, I did get a good deal finished. That makes me smile. And so does your beautiful new quilt...

Hugs en groetjes ~

Heleen, your comments are coming up as 'no-reply' on blogger. I'm sure they didn't before, and I always like to reply to your nice words!! Can you fix it?
