A good day!

Yes, saterday was a real good day.

These lovely fabrics were brought by the postman,

new fabrics

I won these beautifull fabrics in the giveaway on Quilt it & dotty's blog!

new fabrics

Aren't they lovely? Thank you so much Dorry!

I have been in search for a 'grand foular' to cover an old chair.... or the other option... a new chair. (but in these tight financial times times I rather wanted the first option)

And yesterday I found this quilt and two pillows for a nice price,

new quilt and pillows

They are just what this cosy corner needed! I know, I can hear a lot of you thinking.. 'she should have made it herself' ... you are right ofcourse, But sometimes buying (and the quick result) can be satisfying.

And to make the atmosphere complete I bought new candle's and this plant

new plant

So yesterday evening, while we were all home, close by the fire, candle burning and drinking some hot coco, I was thinking 'This was a good day'!

Today we have a sunny sonday so another good day has started!

wish you all a good day too,

Groetjes

I think that's what we do.. tell ourselves we should have made something instead of buying it. But I'm with you!.. that was a nice quick and easy way to get a cozy comfy corner. It looks lovely.

Wonderful present the postman delivered too. :-)

Dat ziet er gezellig uit bij jullie! Wat fijn dat we nu in ons eigen dorpje terecht kunnen voor de stofjes, zoals in je vorige blogje! groetjes Peti

Gorgeous fabric and what a lovely quilt: I have the same. I received it as a birthday present, from my husband (http://countrycosy.wordpress.com/2009/09/02/spoiled/). Those pillows are great too. Nice shopping ! ;-)

Sounds like a wonderful day indeed! I have a hard time buying what 'i could make.' But I never make the things I don't end up buying... Now you've got a cozy corner!
