New terrace

Last tuesday when I came home (after a terrible meeting) from school, my dh was making a new terrace. We had a large sandbox in the garden but now our youngest is 10 and nobody seem to use it anymore.
Yesterday he finished the terrace...and I had seen this beautiful bench in the store..
So now here you see the new bench on the new terrace!

new outside bench

My dh is verry disappointed in the pictures.... 'it only shows the bench, you can't see annything of the terrace.'
I love the new bench and this old quilt hanging on it, and yes my dh I love the new terrace.

Today I started this quilt,

New quilt with embroidered parts

Hope it will turn out right.

Have a great sunny day!

Heleen, I love your new bench. I want to see the terrace too! I'm sure your hubby worked hard on it. The snippets of your quilt look wonderful. I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Your new terrace looks like a nice place to just sit and chill. I love the bottom right hand corner print in your new quilt. Looks very 70's;)

The bench looks lonely...needs you in the photo with the terrace too.

Heleen, Your class art work is wonderfully inspiring. I truly believe that all children should learn about the masters of art. I know my life has been enriched by their work to this day. Wonderful bench, wonderful cement! Elizabeth

Well you will have to take pictures of the lovely terrace and feature his work next time. :-) Gorgeous perfect bench! I'd love to sit there.
I love the way you coordinate fabrics.
